On Nov 7 a local Channel 7 reporter and camera operator visited a Sailability Capricornia sailing day. They filmed, interviewed and had a great ride around in a support boat. Everyone was very well behaved on the day and smiled
Thanks to Peter ‘Mechanical Magician’ Murphy Sailability Capricornia now has a ride-on to help launch and retrieve boats on sailing days. Peter’s unique towbar and drawbar designs enable 2 boats to be delivered to the water’s edge at one time.
A new, bright yellow Hobie tandem islander has now joined the Sailability Capricornia fleet and has been appropriately named the ‘Banana Boat’. This brings the number of sailing boats available on any sailing day to a total of 7: 3
On Tuesday the 29th of August 21 members of Sailability Capricornia gathered at Megalomania in Yeppoon for a farewell luncheon to thank Anne and Steve Bundred for their dedicated service to Sailability over the last 10 years.
