Inner Wheel celebrates 93 years this year as the largest women’s service voluntary organisation in the world, with more than 103,000 members in 103 countries. Numerous good deeds have been accomplished worldwide and we are certainly proud of having lived up to our objectives by cherishing and fostering friendship, personal service and international understanding.

The Inner Wheel Club of Rockhampton Sunset was chartered on 31st August, 2002. We currently have 45 active members who meet on the first Wednesday of each month at the Masonic Club in Rockhampton. Our main fundraising activities are selling raffle tickets for a meat tray each Saturday morning at Northside Plaza and the Capricorn Christmas Trail. The funds raised annually are distributed to local charities chosen by the Past President.

Kerri Scott mentioned to Glenda Ireland (PP) about Capricorn Sailability and the experiences enjoyed by the number of clients with disabilities when sailing. Glenda was most intrigued as she hadn’t heard of Sailability before and immediately pledged $500.
